COMMON MINIMUM PROGRAMME

COMMON MINIMUM PROGRAM FOR QUALITATIVE IMPROVEMENT OF PRIMARY EDUCATION IN K.V. COSSIPORE 2015-16

I.                  DEVELOPING SUPPORT SYSTEM

1.     Resource room is a pre-requisite for effective implementation of CMP.

2.     The monthly contigent fund is drawn every month.

3.     Class library books are arranged in the selves.

 

II.               PROGRAMME FOR PROVIDING EXPOSURE TO THE CHILDREN.

1.     Calender of activities is developed in the very beginning of the session. The calendar includes all the activities, CCA, sports, excursion, community lunch, grandparents day and Baaldivas etc.

Calligraphy, dictation (Hindi/English), group song, drawing and painting.Story telling, skit, quiz ( mathematical, g.k.).

2.     Exposure through excursion is provided to every child, young children classes 1 & 2 are taken to the park and the children of classes 4 & 5 to the monuments& museum.

 

III.           REDUCING THE BURDEN OF TEACHERS.

1.     During the subject committee meeting , there is a regular interaction & sharing of ideas among teachers  teaching the same subjects in different sections of the classes TLM is also shared by all the teachers.

2.     Workshop at school level are also arranged for exchange of ideas.

3.     Students are given ample opportunity in classroom through CCA.

4.     Some of the activities are taken place outside the classroom. Children are asked to collect and classify various things like leaves, plants, trees etc. Through CMP, the effective teaching has been shifted to inspired learning.

5.     Cluster level activities are also taken place.

6.     The time-table is suitably modified by making Block periods to facilitate the activities suitable.

PROGRAMMES FOR PROVIDING EXPOSURE TO THE CHILDREN OF PRIMARY CLASSES WITH SPECIAL EMPHASIS ON NURTURING THEIR TALENT.

1.     Along with the competition, sports and games activities is conducted through the houses.

2.     Health checkup for the primary children is also conducted.

3.     A film show of educational value is also organized in a cycle of 15 days to encourage and to narrate their  experiences of these films.

DEVELOPING EFFECTIVE EVALUATION SYSTEM:-

 

Every Saturday a demo lesson is conducted and also a meeting for cluster level competition. subject committee meeting is also conducted . The responsibility is given to the teacher to make the worksheet and question paper in rotation.
